General comments
Altijd rekeninghouden met resistentie patronen van micro-organismen uit voorgaande kweken en met recent antibiotica gebruik.
Bij gebleken gevoeligheid wordt combinatietherapie niet meer aanbevolen en kan gentamicine worden gestopt.
Behandelduur afhankelijk van kliniek. Na het bereiken van adequate source control is 5 dagen antibiotische behandeling voldoende.
