Op geleide van kweek wordt therapie aangepast
Postoperatief na sternotomie: verkrijg een monster van weefsel om de verwekker te identificeren. Doe dit bij voorkeur middels een biopt voor weefselkweek, is dit niet mogelijk verkrijg dan materiaal voor een diepe wondkweek.
