Vaste partners van mannen waarbij Mycoplasma genitalium infectie aangetoond is, kunnen tegelijk meebehandeld worden, zonder testen. De behandeling geschiedt met dezelfde behandeling als die van de indexpatiënt. Er is geen reden om andere (losse) partners mee te behandelen en geen indicatie voor contactopsporing.
